Free GST self invoice maker (reverse charge)
Bought goods or services from an unregistered supplier where you must pay the GST yourself? Make the self invoice the GST law asks for in a minute: your GSTIN, the supplier, HSN or SAC, the tax under reverse charge, and a reminder of the 30-day limit. No login, nothing sent to anyone.
How to make a self invoice here
- Type your business details once. You are the buyer here, and a self invoice needs your GSTIN. Saved businesses appear as you type; nothing fills in by itself.
- Add the supplier. Name, address and state of the unregistered person or firm you bought from. Saved suppliers appear as suggestions.
- Type the date you received the goods or services. The rules ask for the self invoice within 30 days of that date; the maker warns you when it is later.
- Add the items. Description, HSN or SAC code, quantity, rate and the GST rate that applies under reverse charge. CGST + SGST or IGST is chosen from the two states.
- Save, then Print / PDF or Share. The page prints "SELF INVOICE" with "Reverse charge: Yes" and the note required by section 31(3)(f).
- When you pay the supplier, make a payment voucher with the reverse charge tick at voucher.niveshsahayak.in, and pay the GST in cash in your monthly return.
What it does for you
- Reverse charge done right: tax is always shown, "Reverse charge: Yes" is always printed, and the section 31(3)(f) note is added for you.
- GST worked out: CGST + SGST when the supplier is in your state, IGST when in another, with a tax summary by HSN or SAC.
- 30-day check: type the date of receipt and the maker warns before saving a late self invoice.
- Own number series: SI/26-27/001 onwards, separate from your sales invoices, restarting every financial year.
- Status for the tax: mark each one "Tax not paid yet" or "Tax paid" so nothing is missed in the return.
- In your language: 24 languages on screen; the printed self invoice stays in English for your accountant and the tax officer.
Your data stays with you
